Northern California Jiyu Kumite Tournament
We are pleased to announce that we have finalized the
date for the 2005 Norcal SKA Annual Tournament:
Date: June 5, 2005 (Sunday)
Sign in and registration: 11:30 am
Tournament starts: 12:30 pm
Location: SouthWest YMCA
13500 Quito Road
Saratoga, CA
Cost: $25
There will be three divisions:
Black Belt
Brown Belt (White belts may participate with
instructor permission)
Women (White belts may participate with instructor
permission)
Protection:
Hand pads will be required and must be white, thin and
made of fabric. No other types of hand pads will be
permitted. A few extra pairs of hand pads will be
available at the tournament.
Mouth guards, and cups may be used.
Chest protectors (for women only) may be used.
No other protection will be permitted (shin guards,
instep guards, or forearm guards, for example).
