2007 NorCal SKA Annula Jiyu Kumite Tournament




The 2007 NorCal SKA Annual Tournament has been set for Saturday, May 19, 2007.
Join us in beautiful Napa, the heart of wine tasting, for the NorCal tournament. This tournament is open to ALL members of SKA! Do not miss this opportunity to further your training by attending this practice.
Date: Saturday, May 19, 2007
Sign in and registration: 9:00am
Tournament starts: 10:00am
Location: First Presbyterian Church Gymnasium, 1333 Third Street Napa, 94559
Cost: $25


All participants MUST have current 2007 SKA membership paid. Please bring your 2007 SKA membership card.

There will be three divisions:

Black Belt
Brown Belt (White belts may participate with instructor permission)
Women (White belts may participate with instructor permission)

Protection:
Hand pads will be required and must be white, thin and made of fabric.
No other types of had pads will be permitted.
Mouth guards, and cups may be used.
Chest protectors (for women only) may be used.
No other protection will be permitted (shin guards, instep guards, or forearm guards, for example).

In order to talk more karate, an after tournament pot luck at the home of Mark and Ellen Kohagura is scheduled. Further information to follow.
